Yuca Root Cold Process Tallow Soap combines cooked, then pureed yuca root with simple beef tallow to make a hard, long-lasting soap bar that's not only gentle but has a great lather.

Yuca plants can be found in a variety of climates, but are most commonly found in arid, dry regions of the desert Southwest.

The active ingredient in yuca root is saponin - I am limited in what I can say but saponin has significant qualities that historically have made it quite wonderful for skin.

These bars have been left unscented - and made with simple ingredients:

~pastured beef tallow

~olive oil

~castor oil

~coconut oil

~pureed yuca root

~colloidal oats

I strive to avoid using palm oil, fragrances and artificial colorants in my soaps, instead, keeping things as simple (and natural) as possible.

Each bar comes wrapped and labeled with the soap name and ingredients.

Ingredients include: distilled water, saponified oils (olive oil, coconut oil, beef tallow, castor oil), yuca root, colloidal oats, ground cinnamon. Unscented.
