Our cold process soaps are handmade in small batches - each carrying a different story or meaning behind the soap.
Sometimes that meaning is deep. Other times it's reminiscent of a silly story associated with the making of the particular soap.
This soap had wonderful intentions of being a showcase of the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona in all their splendid majesty. The showcase involves a late night batch of soap making when the kids were sleeping, only to see a toddler with both hands in the sugar, behind closed pantry doors.
Caught red-handed, the toddler drops the sugar and takes off running, wearing only a diaper and two fistfuls of grainy, white sugar... only to disappear into the darkness of the closet to hide from the authorities. The soap design was quickly dumped in the mold to chase after the robber in question.
Thus, Showdown at Red Rock was coined.
