Boardwalk Soap Dish
This Boardwalk wood soap dish is handcrafted by a woodcrafter and small business owner in the Pacific Northwest.
The dish measures 2.75" x 4" x 3/4" and is made from a variety of reclaimed wood types beech and poplar - sourced from a local area lumber mill.
This soap dish has minimal surface area to minimize the sticking of the soap. The wide angled channels allows the water to quickly drain away from the soap, thus extending the life of the soap bar.
Each soap dish has been kept in its natural state (unfinished), and simply rubbed down with a layer of highly moisturizing coconut oil.
**Things to think about: A soap dish can greatly extend the life of your handmade soap. But did you know that you can also extend the life of your soap dish?
Use your soap dishes in pairs. Use one dish for 2-3 weeks, and then rotate with the second dish while allowing the first dish to completely dry out. Doing this will prevent mold and mildew from developing and growing on your dish and greatly extend the life of the dish.
