The Creosote Bush is a plant found in the desert Southwest. For centuries, it has been a traditional healing herb used for a variety of topical applications. It's commonly referred to as desert chaparral or the greasewood plant.
The creosote is dried, and infused in grapeseed oil over a period of many weeks - a process that allows the components of the plant to emerge in the finished oil. The scent of this lip balm will remind you of the desert after a fresh rain.
The infused oil is combined with creamy, pastured tallow. Tallow is the closest saturated fat to our own skin cells, which is what makes it so incredible for lips.
Ingredients include: wildcrafted chaparral (also known as creosote) infused in unrefined grapeseed oil, organic beeswax, 100% pastured tallow and castor oil. For external use only.
